We are pleased to announce that Providence Christian School has scored the top Kindergarten readiness rate in Cape Coral.  The VPK students from the 2008-2009 school year were tested upon entrance to Kindergarten in the fall of 2009 and received an overall score of 196 out of 200.

The VPK Provider Kindergarten Readiness Rate measures how well a VPK provider prepares four year-olds to be ready for Kindergarten based upon Florida’s VPK Education Standards. The VPK Standards describe skills four year-old children should know and be able to achieve by the end of the VPK experience.

Uniform Reminders:

• All students may purchase the PE T-shirts from the uniform store to wear on jean days.
• All middle school students must purchase the new double mesh PE shorts. No other PE shorts will be allowed.
• Uniform exchange will be available at PCS. More information coming.

   Our Before/After School program will continue this year under the direction of Mrs. Tonnie Drake, with assistance from Jennifer Hitchcock.  Hours are before school from 7:00am -8:00am, and after school beginning at 3:30pm. Morning is $3.00 daily and Afternoon is $7.00. Call or e-mail the PCS office with questions.

    Lessons may be offered for piano and guitar during the summer for students who are enrolled at PCS.  Check with the school office if interested.
